Alfie is my baby. I love him so so so much. I guess you could say I’m one of those crazy cat people. What really gets me about Alf is that he is so loving. Most cats that I have owned or known have been very ‘cat-like’ in their personalities. To me this means that they enjoy a few choice pets here and there, but most of the time they like to lounge on their own, only needing humans for food and to clean the litter.
Lots of people don’t like cats for that exact reason. I don’t mind that at all really. I actually appreciate not always having to baby my pet. Dogs are too much maintenance for me. Cats can fend for themselves to a point and that is a plus!
But Alfie is a special guy. He’s soooo loving. He adores cuddling, scratches, nose rubs, and just being in my presence. Sometimes I will be on my laptop, or reading a book and he will just snuggle up next to me a sleep. I can’t really explain it better than that. He is just very personable.
He also plays fetch, and today he followed me and my brother’s dog as we went on a walk around the block. It was so cute to hear his little bell tinkling as he ran after us and tried to keep up.
I would love to hear from other cat loving people if they have similar experiences with their feline friends. What do you love/hate about your pet?
Today seemed like the perfect day to get my sweat on. No makeup, comfy clothes, pumping beats…ready!

It is difficult to start a blog these days. There is so much information out there on the interweb that competition for bloggers seems almost insurmountable. But I’m here to give it my best shot. I would like to say I have a unique perspective on the world, and I would hope that there are people out there interested in reading what I think.
Welcome to my blog.
My name is Erin and I am a 22-year-old with an old soul. I love all things vintage, retro, what have you. I am learning new things every day and that still excites me. I find inspiration in everything, and I would describe myself as a creative-type.
I’m an Aquarius and fit that profile to a T.
I enjoy fashion, art, music, food, and lots more that I will try to share as often as possible.
Thanks for taking the time to spend some time with me.
“You’ll also recognize a girl who travels by the fact that she’s always amazed at the world around her, no matter if she’s in her hometown or in a place that’s totally new. She sees beauty all around her, not just the ones featured in travel guides or shown in postcards. A girl who travels has developed a deeper appreciation for life. She won’t judge you, or pressure you to do things you don’t want to do. She knows too much about the importance of identity and self-efficacy, and she will appreciate all the more if you won’t pretend to be who you’re not.”
